If everything runs smoothly, it’s boring. That, or it’s just my excuse on how we roll here. Trouble continues as we miss the train by seconds! The door literally closes infront of us, just like the movies, you know when someone tries to rush to get in the train but the door closes and people inside can’t help but laugh? Well thank god no one is behind the door to laugh at us, so no embarrassment here, phew. Luckily the staff says we can take the other train which will leave in half an hour. Guess it’s true what they say, ‘good things come to those who wait.’
Reaching the station, we hit up for some coffee and hot cocoa to warm up and freshen up at a cosy cute cafe called ‘The waiting room’ before walking through the city and finally to our destination…the Brighton pier. Ah Woopwoop!!
Walking towards the pier, you will see that it is a very active beach! There are so many things you can enjoy no matter how old you are; sports, games, playgrounds, or even just beach chairs for you to sit back, relax and enjoy the view. You will hear birds chirping, kids running and screaming, sound of skateboards that teenagers use to transport, couples walk hand in hand and families pushing the strollers while eating ice creams. It’s just the perfect simple life.
Hitting the pier really gives you the ambience of Santa Monica in California. Everything is so vibrant and something special in the air that makes you feel happy, energetic, almost hyperactive! Everyone eating snacks, playing games, just enjoying themselves. This is seriously a cute happy land! Look at the photos yourselves!
Besides the Brighton pier, the city is also as lively as its pier. Another famous place in Brighton is the Royal Pavilion, or famously known as Taj Mahal of Brighton. It sits beside a nice park where the ducks and human come to chillax during good weather days. And this, is where i meet my first British Brighton Boyfriend Billy…. ❤
Just kidding! Billy is actually the son of the guy who we ask to take photo for me and my friends, and he is soooooooo adorbss!! Will never forget his face >.<
Still got more energy? Walk around Brighton square, it has sooo many cute shops, including this one that causes human jam on the small alley called “Choccywoccydoodah.” The name already suggests how fun this shop will be! It mixes art and all the sweets together!
After all those sweets shop, my tummy starts to growl and so we hit up at Donatello for some exquisite Italian cuisines. The restaurant is fully packed and definitely worth the wait!
Now that’s happiness for both my tummy, my eyes and my soul! I Love you Brighton!
